Background to the company
People are always asking us “Why are you called Bruynzeel”?
Well, originally started in 1970 by a Dutch Company, Bruynzeel Australia soon became the leading supplier of quality Marine Plywood to the Boating and Marine Industry.
Within six months the local operation was wholly Australian owned and diversified into other Wood Panel and Timber Products.
The company was purchased by the Hanlon Family in 1997 and remains a proudly Australian, Family Owned Business offering exemplary service to its customers.
The team
Our highly experienced team have over “92” years combined experience in the Flat Panel and Timber products industry.
Glen Hanlon: The Owner and Principal
Joined the company in 1988 and purchased the company in 1997. Glen has an extensive background in wood panels and timber products spaning 38 years.
Paul Attana: Customer Service Manager
Paul has over 25 years industry experience in retailing and wholesaling of timber products. Paul’s background includes banking and Logistics.
Hunter Dowling: Business Development Manager
Hunter has over 18 years experience in the wood panel and timber flooring industry. Originally from a rural background, Hunter also spent many years as a Futures Trader.
We are ably assisted by a strong administration, warehousing and delivery team.
